Three of us went and we picked over 22 pounds in about 2 hours.” Another visitor writes on July 26, 2008: “We first stopped by Conte Farms — we’ve been here many times and given this place a try for blueberry picking the past two years. We generally find that the berries here are overpicked and today was no exception.  It’s also a very commercialized operation, and although the tractor ride to the fields is fun, the prices are ridiculous: $1.80 for pick your own this year.  It’s hard to recommend this place for pick-your-own blueberries but we’ve stopped by here for the past several years.  Why?  AMAZING apple cider donuts.”

It had all the amenities of the big farms out west without having to travel so far. Everything seemed well kept and everyone was really friendly. We look forward to going back this year. ” A visitor writes on October 23, 2009: “While, I like Conklin Farm, be prepared to spend a lot of money. Everything costs money separately. It cost $4.00 for per face paint and the girl just air brushed a small stencil on their faces. The entire bottle of paint she used probably costs less than $4.00. It was $2.00 per person just to enter the corn maze which was not well maintained. The hay ride was a waste because it just brought you to one end of the farm and back, we were on it for less than 5 minutes. Next year, I will do a bit more research and find a farm that does not charge for everything like that. Between 3 pumpkins, snack, 1 Mum, and doing all the activities for 3 people, I spent close to $100.00 that day.”

The pig had a huge open wound on it’s ear and the sheep was laying on the side with a breathing problem, the chickens were in small cages living in filth. Would not go back with children.
